Location of Kashid Beach
Kashid Beach is tucked away in the Raigad district of Maharashtra, just a few kilometers from the popular beach town of Alibaug. The nearest big town is Murud which is just 30 minutes away. While the beach remains blissfully untouched, it does take a bit of an effort to reach here through the winding roads from Mumbai or Pune. The roads may be bumpy but trust us, it's worth every back-breaking turn!
How to Reach
Reaching Kashid Beach requires a road trip by car or bus either from Mumbai or Pune. The route passes through scenic landscapes, mountains, rivers and villages.
From Mumbai, it takes around 3.5 to 4 hours to reach Kashid Beach by road. The route passes through Panvel, Pen and Roha towns before hitting Alibaug. From Alibaug, take the road towards Murud and continue for 30 more minutes to arrive at Kashid Beach.
If you're coming from Pune, the drive is around 4.5 to 5 hours long. The route passes via Lonavala, Khopoli and Pen before joining the Mumbai-Goa highway at Nagothane. Continue onwards till Roha and take the diversion to Kashid Beach via Alibaug and Murud towns.
